Mernda Primary School Council is a group of interested parents and school staff who volunteer to oversee the planning of the schools future. Council sees its role as supportive to the Principal and Staff in providing the best possible educational opportunities for the children attending the school. School Council positions are occupied for 2 years at a time and elections are held early each year. School council usually meets once a month on a Wednesday night at 7pm in the conference room. Council members are keen to represent the whole school community and are always interested in suggestions and/or feedback that will help improve Mernda Primary School, to ensure our children have the brightest possible future.
